Friday, October 4
Today we continued working on our Maze of Bones journal pages, and some students are now finished or nearly finished this assignment. We also had a substantial period of time in which to catch up on unfinished work, and the overdue list has been significantly reduced. Students are enjoying reading further in because of mr. terupt, and are continuing to have worthwhile conversations about bullying and friendship. We also spent time discussing and brainstorming about mental health, particularly what it is.
A reminder that students are asked to consider what we as a school can talk about or do in order to help improve our mental health. This is homework for Monday, and we will continue this discussion then.
