Our Remembrance Day assembly went so well today! Thank-you, students, for all of the hard work and practice that you put into it! It really paid off, and we are so proud of you! Thank-you as well to all of the parents who attended. It was wonderful to have so much support from our parent community! Hopefully some of our families will be able to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies throughout the city on Monday as well.

We also spent time today trying to solve a challenging math problem estimating the number of new and old trees in a large field. Students came up with and applied their own estimation strategies. We will continue with this problem next week.

A reminder that our math test for our number unit is on Tuesday. Completing and correcting Show What You Know from the textbook continues to be the best way to prepare, but students are also encouraged to review work they've done throughout the unit and to explore some of the links shared on Tuesday's blog post.

In-line skating forms are coming home today. Please complete and return these forms as soon as possible. This program takes place between November 19th and December 13th, with a more detailed schedule to come soon.
